Yvonne Wessels

Yvonne Wessels. Member of Cancor Trading 7cc

Yvonne was born in Verkeerdevlei Orange Free State on 08 July 1957. First born of twin sisters, Yvonne attended primary school in Winburg and later commenced her high school education at Oranje Meisies School where she matriculated in 1975.

Originally destined to take over her families farming operations, Yvonne attended Glen Agricultural College, and passed many courses including artificial insemination.

Finding the commercial world very challenging, Yvonne decided to help out at Senwes CoOp at Verkeerdevlei, which started a thirteen year long career with Senwes.

During this 13 year period at SENWES, Yvonne was sent to all the branches of the Co op in a relieving managerial position, and she eventually headed up the irrigation department in Bloemfontein.

Having an excellent knowledge of pipes and pumps, she was then headhunted by DPI Plastics and during her 13 year career at DPI Yvonne achieved many awards for her sterling performance.

When DPI Plastics Merged with Incledon in 2002, Yvonne and Tony Mitchell left and then joined forces to form Cancor Trading, on 01 January 2003.

During the initial 10 year period of Cancor’s existence, Yvonne and Tony jointly also worked for Sekunjalo Piping Systems, Petzetakis Africa, as well as the Rare group of companies, Since 2011 Yvonne and Tony have concentrated their full attention to their interests in Cancor Trading 7cc.

Anthony "Tony" Mitchell

Tony Mitchell. Member of Cancor Trading 7cc

Tony was born in Springs (Transvaal) on 19 March 1955. An only child he attended many primary schools all over the Gauteng province, and commenced his High School career at Krugersdorp High School in 1969.

After completing schooling in 1974, Tony went on to complete basic military training at 7 infantry battalion Bourke’s Luck, and then in various areas of the SANDF based at defence HQ in Pretoria.

A very colorful and varied work career followed, and in 1983 Tony joined the plastics division of the Everite Group known as Paxit Pipekor in the position of contracts administrator. When Paxit Pipekor merged with Duro Penta to form DPI Plastics Tony was promoted to national contracts administrator and travelled the RSA extensively in this position being mentor and trainer at many of the branches of the company.

In 1991 Tony accepted the position of branch manager Bloemfontein, and successfully managed all aspects of the branch until DPI merged with Incledon at the end of 2002 when Tony and Yvonne then decided to join forces to establish Cancor Trading 7cc in January 2003.

During the 10 year period of Cancor’s existence, Yvonne and Tony jointly also worked for Sekunjalo Piping Systems, Petzetakis Africa, as well as The Rare group of companies, Since 01 July 2011 Tony’s attentions has been concentrated on his interests in Cancor Trading 7cc. / B&B@t53, / Caravan Lodge/ Transencore / and more recently Kloofeind Caravan Lodge Pub & Shop.
